Andrew Truelove

Senior Vice President

Andrew Truelove began his career with CMB in 1994 as an apprentice mechanical engineer. Moving up through the ranks, Truelove worked in both sales and engineering functions, and held various management positions before being appointed GM in 2013. He studied for his Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of Bradford, before completing his MBA at the University of Bradford’s School of Management and Law. In his spare time, he likes to play golf, go open water swimming, coach junior football, and spend time with his family.

Head of Sales

Andrew began his career at CMB in 2005 as an Apprentice Manufacturing Engineer, before moving into the Engineering department where he went on to study an MSc in Mechanical Engineering at Lancaster University. Andrew was Mechanical Engineering Manager for several years, gaining an in-depth technical understanding of CMB’s full product portfolio – before moving across to the Sales team, where he has now held his current position as Head of Sales for over 3 years. Having a customer-first mindset – Andrew is always looking to help customers existing and new find solutions to their needs or problems. In his free time, he enjoys travelling, motor sports and spending time with his wife, family and friends.

Tom has worked at CMB for over 10 years in multiple teams including Technical, Operations and Sales. Tom’s time in different business functions has helped him to accumulate extensive knowledge of our products and how they are manufactured, which he uses to help our customers find the right solutions for their business. Tom holds a bachelor’s in product design and master’s in engineering management. Tom enjoys spending his free time with his family, running, watching sports and snowboarding.

Zach has nearly 30 years of experience working in the can making industry, he began his career as a Mechanical Engineer and then transitioned to Project Management for specialty package development. Zach uses his machine design and development background to help customers choose the right equipment for the right project. He loves spending time with his family, traveling, Mountain biking, SCUBA diving and aviation sports.

Technical & Commercial Manager – Mec-A-Tec

Joe has 20+ years’ experience in the beverage and food can handling industry. He began his career as a mechanical engineer before transitioning to a design role using 2D and 3D CAD software. Following on from the role of senior design engineer he became more involved in project management for larger scale contracts undertaken by Mec-A-Tec, this in turn has progressed to a more commercial role within the company. Joe has a keen interest in motorcycle racing and has previously competed in many parts of the world, he also enjoys cooking, travel, and camping.
